District races to mean the Mount Ida Warden's District. Any jockey riding, except in colors entered, will be fioed £1 is: Five per cent. - deducted from the gross amount of all stakes for expenses. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. The Mouut Ida Jockey Club rules will be strictly enforced. Any person r entering a protest will have to deposit '£2 , and should > such < protest be deemed frivolous by- the stewards, will have to forfeit the same.
