Kesident Magistrate's Co,uet. -' (Before H. W. Uobinson, Esq., H.M.) Police y. O'Connell. —For le'aving dangerous formation in a public thoroughfare without fencing or enclosing the, same, contrary to the provisions, of .the Town and Country Police Ordinance. The case was withdrawn—the defendant promising to provide a safe fence within one month. Police y. Earn say, Police v.-Nolan, and Police v. M'Kay, for the same offence, were similarly dealt with. Poli3e y. Teviotdale.—For a" similar negligence. Adjourned to next sitting of the Court. Warden's Court. • (Before H. W. Robinson, Esq., Warden.) Police y. Connolly.—For carrying on business without being duly licensed, contrary to the provision's of the G-oldfields Act,'lß66. Fined 255. and'costs, lis. . Police v. Laverty.—Similar complaint. Withdrawn. : .Police v. • O'Neili —Similar complaint. Fined in 255. and costs, lis. ; Agricultural Lease. —No being lodged against granting the agricultural lease applied for by E. W. Humphreys, Esq., Strathtaieri,. the Warden decided to grant certificate, subject to survey.
