Christchurch, July 17. The master tailors have agreed to pay a higher rate of wages, in accordance with the demand of the journeymen. The Provincial Government have advertised that they will return any money paid, on account of passages to friends to the Colony, to the General Government, on the production of the receipt of the Immigration Officer.
