F. .R. Baxter was charged by Serjeant M'Cluskey, for using profane language in a public place. Fined os. and costs. John Crosbie, on remand, was brought up on a charge of lunacy. Discharged: ' b - An application for a hawker's license to Jacob London, was granted. Monday, January 20. Alex. Thomson was charged by Constable Blair with being drunk and disorderly. Discharged with a caution. Daniel M'Gregor, afas Daniel o'Conn ell. alias M'Donald, was charged by Constable Koimey of .Macraes, with stealing a bridle, the property of John Bremner, at Hyde. Committed to IN ascby gaol, for fourteen days, with, hard labor.
