No entries \yill'be received for any of the above races exceptupon this condition: that all claims, and . objections, arising out of the racing shall be decided, by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points shall be final; No. .person shall;be allowed to enter or run a horse for any race in this programme- - hack races excepted—unless a subscriber of not less than £2 2s. to the Race Fund. 1 Entries to be received by the Secretary, at the Victoria Hotel, Mount Ida, before 6 p m. on 11th December, 1872 entrance money enclosed, with name, age, pedigree (if any) of the horse, name of . the. owner, and. colors of the rider. Any jockey riding, except in colors entered, will be fined £1 Is. Five per cent, deducted from the gross amount of all stakes for expenses. Horses walking over will, .receive fifty per cent, of the stakes. The Mount Ida Jockey Club Rules will be strictly enforced. Any person entering a protest will have to deposit £2; and should such protest be deemed frivolous by the Stewards, will have to forfeit the same.
