It will* be so thick tuat absolutely nothing will be visible, and will be accompanied by p 3stilerice, which wilL chiefly fail on'tlie enemies of religion, although the scourge will riot be confined exclusively to them. Whilst th is 'darkness lasts rio "light will 1 shine, J rio Kite will have' aiiy and only those who-hWe blessed will be able : to see. All' triis is Very horrible, antl it is to be hoped the lady in ty 4 .be mistaken in her predictions, and} that they may turn out is erroneous as that 'of the great tidal" wave whicK was, the Cither day to Hav*e destroyed. New Orleans;" The prophetess, however, gives, full directions as to the proper course to be pursued during this' plague of darkness and pestilence. The, di recto r of A una Maria Taigi'said, August', 1861: —" It is most true that the venerable servant of Grod announced the scourge of three days' darkness, extending the whole earth. While it lasts the windows must be kept closed "
