CHURCH PSALMODY.

fTo the Editor of the Mount Ida Chboxicle.)

Sir, —I observed in your last issue a, letter signed "G\ \t. Paice," calling upon you to give the name and address of the writer of a communication in your previous issue bearing the nom de plume signature of " Old Hundred." ■ In the letter itself there is m my opinion nothing for which I can be called upon to apologise. At the same time if I am mistaken as to the authorship of the letter signed ''Presbyterian" I certainly regret having wounded that gentleman's keen sensibilities or ceptibilities. You, sir, will bear in mind that T never taxed Mr. Paice with having written the communication to which my letter was intended as a reply ; I merely suspected him of the authorship. In conclusion, I would mind Mr Paice of an old Latin proverb which has become a legal maxim— Qui facit per alium facit per se. —l am.
