Miscellaneous Advertisements. MINING LEASE APPLICATION. Naseby, January 4, 1872. To the Warden at Naseby. Sir,- - X HERE WITH DEPOSIT the sum -L of Twenty Pounds (£2O) as required by the Mining Leases Regulations of Otago, and I agree, if my application (the particulars of which are hereunder set forth) be investigated, that such sum shall in all respects be held subject to the terms of such Regulations, and that upon approval of this Application, I will execute a Lease upon the bases therein stated, if the Governor or his Delegate shall thinlr fit to grant the same. Style under which it is Intended to Conduct the Business.—Clarks Goldmining and Sluicing Company. Extent of Land Applied for.—Ten Acres. Minimum Number of Men to be Employed by the Lessees.—(l) For the first six months, six men; (2) Subsequently, when in full work, eight men. Amount of Capital Proposed to be Invested. —£looo. Proposed Mode of Working the LandHydraulic Sluicing. Precise Locality. Adjoining Guffie and Latham's Lease Area, .Tunnel FTill, Claiks Diggings. Term for which Lease Required. - Ten Years. Time of Commencing Operations. —lmmediately on grant of Lease. o The above Application and any Objection thereto will be heard before me at Naseby, on Friday the 26th January, 1872.
