The prospects at the Scandinavian Reef, Skippers, are excellent. In striking this reef, Messrs. Bullen Bros., the proprietors, have for sdven years persisted under, heavy discouragements, and during that time have expended over £ 15,000. The tunnel is 700 feet in length, some of it costing as much as £2 15s. a foot to drive. Their crushing machine is going night and day- but has not yet commenced to crush stone from the reef proper.
