SPIRITUAL MINING.

A Californian paper gives the following story of spirituaLraining :—Mr. Patterson, of Cope district, wrho pears to understand quartz tajik as, well as an old stager does horse talk, has given us a full history of the rise and progress of the Bull Run district, as • also Cope and its surroundings. The Captain, not being- a believer in spiritual revelation, paid but little attention to the mattei until a short time since he told some men of the circumstance, and tbey undertook to find the ledge, agreeing in case of success to give the Captain 200 feet. Sure enough, at the depth of twelve feet, they uncovered a strong four foot on which they are all sinking with every prospect of its increasing to twelve feet by the time tbey reach > the required twsnty feet. Specimens, taken from this discovery, which as yet we have not heard a name for, assay as high as 15,000d01s per ton.
