Dunedin, Thursday, 5 p.m
To-day, being Sfc. A ndrew's Bay, was kept as a general holiday. The day was showery in the morning, but about mid-day cleared up. ' The opening sports of the Dunedin Amateur Athletic Club was held in the Caledonian Grounds.
There was a large concourse of visi-
tors. , The races were well contested.
