the Coronor, H. \V Robinson, Esq., bein-4 absent at t!ie Maerewhenua, an inquest into the causes which led to the death of Malachi Wvan, took place at t'ie Melbourne Hotel, on Wednesday last, before a jury, William Grumltt, Esq., acting coroner, presiding. It took about ton minutes to remove the clods and earth, but during that time deceased's head was ex <osed, and from his mouth and ears blood flowed freely.
