Craig v. Chartres.—Claim, £l4 12s. 6d., money lent. No appearance of defendant. Judgment for amount claimed, with 19s. costs, to be paid forthwith.

Tuesday, September 26th. Chartres v. Collett.—For using abusive and insulting language. No appearance of complainant. Complaint dismissed, with 30s. costs of defendant.

Price v. Edwin George.—lllegal detention of property. No appearance of defendant. Defendant ordered to give up possession of the property (a dray) within one month, or pay the value, £4 10s., without costs. Mr. Bailey for plaintiff. Same v. Same.—Claim, £ls as damage sustained by illegal detention of property. No appearance of defendant. Hearing adjourned to October 3rd, without costs. Mr. Bailey for plaintiff. Tootell v. Brown.—Claim, £3 9s. No appearance. Judgment for amount claimed.
