.lohn S. Foote applied for two dams sit My Gully. These applications were object -d to by Samuel Sutherland, who said he had prospected the ground and found it to be payably auriferous, and that his party desired to work it. Application refused.

Sut'ierum I and party and M/Kechnie and party applied for water races. Objectors, Johnstone and Wade; The applicants admitted there was no natural source of water supply to the gully from which they proposed to head their races, and that they would have to de pend upon tail water which was under the control of the objectors, who were at the present diseharuing into the gully. Both of these applications were refused.

Several applications for extended claims, and one by Thurlow and party to divert water from the Dunstan Creek, beiow t le lower end of the publie channel, were ordered to stand over until the next sitting.
