The Fijian Government lias written to the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, requesting the co-operation of Great Britain in its efforts to suppress slavery and kidnapping in the Melanesian Islands. A new rush has taken place in Mudgee, and there are 2000 men on the ground.
