KYEBURN DIGGINGS CHURCH.
(To the Editor of the Mount Ida Chronicle.) Sib, —Allow me, through the medium of youi» paper,, to call the attenti on of the Kjet)urri Church Committee to the fact that,;since { their election in September, 1869, up to the present they have never given any account of their stewardship. Now, I hold this is a state of things which is neitheir creditable to themselves nor satisfactory to the subscribers. True, about three weeks they issued a so-called balance sl.cwt, 'and posted the same on the church door ; but it is not very intebligibjjp, and what is wc>rse, it is very incomplete, inasmuch as it only accounts for 'seven months' church door collections, whoretis the Collections have exten4ed over eighteen months. I hope
' I'iisr may remind tiiem of what is due to the subscribers as well* as themselves, I and. that they may atone somewhat for ! their carelessness by; calling: a public jineeting as soon as ■.possible to explain the different items, in. the'.-said balance Siieel, and likewise to give suitie information ,tibout .sums, which should b:e in "it but have been- guMed/-- I am Ac., Ryebu unite.
