Mr. Chairman and Gentlemen— I thank you for the gentlemanly way in which you received me, and I also thank you for the attention paid during the delivery of a portion of.au address which T intended to have gone through with, and would have done had it not been for the uncalled for interruption indulged in by Mr. John Breniner. I certainly felt the same surprise that I saw so manifest in yourselves, and I fe:l that 1 should be doing myself a wrong, and you more particularly, did I not come forward and say that I have received an apology from him for his unjfenriemanly and uncalled for interruption of the meeting that evening.
