Nominations (with £2 2s enclosed) to be lodged, with the Seca-etary, at the Post Office, St. Bathans, not later than 7 o'clock p.m. on December 10th. Weights to be declared in the ' Mount Ida Chronicle 'of December 16th. Acceptances (with £3 3s enclosed) must be sent in to the Secretary not later than 7 o'clock p.m'. : on December 24th, the night of general entry. Publicans' Pttrse of 20 sovs ; distance, one mile heats; no weight under 9 stone; winner of the District Handicap to carry I 7lbs extra j entrance, £1 lUs. RULES AJfD REGULATIONS. Mares and geldings allowed 31bs. No enti-ies will be received for any of the above races, except upon this condition, that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points shall be final. No person shall be allowed to enter or run a horse for any race in this programme—the Hurry Scurry and Cheroot Races excepted—unless a subscriber of not less than £2 2b to the Race Fund. ' : Entries to be l'eceived by the Secretary, at the Post Office, St. Bathans, before 7 p.m. ou 24th December, 1870 —entrance money enclosed, with name, .age, pedigree (if any) of the horse, name of the owner, and color of the rider. Any jockey riding, except in colors entered, will be fined £1 Is.
