' Hero is a Black Horse, with superior action, got by.the famous Clydesdale Horse Prince Koyal (imported by W;*H.-Valpy, Scotland). The dam of Hero was an Imported Clydesdale Mare from Twofold Bay, bred by the Clyde Company. Hero was a prize-haker at the Northern Pas' toral and Agricultural Show held at Oarnaru, in 1863.
