Mining lease applications of Duffy and another, and Matthewson and :otherSj ; were.partly. heard,..but owing to the survey having been made only the day before, the Warden consented to hold both over until -the ;next Court day, in order, to afford time for the holders of adjoining claims to ascertain whether there was any encroachment. ; ; The folio wing applications were granted:—J. ]\f|nn, residence area; W.'Annett, residence area.
