C. HEETSLET. HUGH WILSON. Witness to signatures of H. C. Hertslet and Hugh Wilson— • Edmund Horswell... . . . Naseby, March 17, 1870. TO THE MINEES AND EESIDENTS OF THE MOUNT IDA DISTEICT. ENTLEMEN—Circumstances of an entirely private nature : have decided me to cease my connection with the Mount Ida Chronicle, which, after the present issue, will be carried' on by my late partner, Mr. Hugh Wilson, upon his own and sole account. It has not been without considerable pain that I have felt compelled to adopt this course —holding, as I do, in grateful remembrance the. many acts of consideration and'indulgence (with little, if any, unkindness or discourtesy) which I have at all times received' at your hands during the period I have had the hondr to conduct the Chronicle. Though discontinuing my connection with the paper, it is still my intention to remain among you—at all events, for a Season—and continue to carry on business as a Mining and General Agent ; and I trust that my old, as well as some new friends, will rally round and support me in the not altogether new career which I purpose to follow. I am, gentlemen, • Your obedient servant, 11. C. HEETSLET. ALL PERSONS Indebted to this JPaper are requested to Settle their respective Accounts forthwith.
