' Resident Magistrate's Court. (Before H. W. Robinson, Esq., R.M.) Bremner Bros. v. J. Hewitt.—This was an action to recover a debt of £4 2s. 6d. for goods supplied some years ago to a store or shanty at th 6 Sowburn, supposed to have been carried on on account of the defendant. The defendant denied that he had any interest in. the business in cjjiesticji, and, in the absence of positive evidence to connect him witli it, the claim was dismissed.' the defendant beijig allowed £2 for his espenMi ■
