WHO CLEANS THE SCHOOL?

(To the Editor of the Mount Ida. Chronicle.^ Sir,—As- one of those who attended the meeting at the Schoolhouse on Monday last, I wish to inquire to whom the duty of keeping the fooin in a decent state of cleanliness pertains ? I can only say for myself that I never saw a building devoted to the £>urposes of education in a more disgraceful condition. Surely the requisitions of decency, if not of health, require that this matter should be looked into.— I am, &c, Pbdagogy Mudlark. Mudtown, Jan. 11, 1870.
