Now,*sir,l should to know if any place has been set apaj as a receptacle for tliis dangerous em plosive ? The liability to lire of at« built of such combustible mater is this town of ours must be appare® to all, as must also the necessity making some immediate and rules for the safe custody as well J gunpowder, as also of kerosene, JjM other inflammable oils and material* Gan you inform myself, and otlieH interested in the question, whose <&■ it is to look into the matter ? —IJJB &e., X.
