SUB-INSPECTOR CAPEL.

A correspondent of the 'Daily Times' thus concludes a biographical sketch of Mr. Sub-Inspector Capel, of the Colonial Forces which will, no doubt, be read with interest by many persons in this district:—"Failing to obtain an appointment in that corps (the Irish Constabulary), he, of his own accord, emigrated to New Zealand, with strong letters of recommendation to Sir Geo Grey ; but, preferring to steer a course for himself, he after arrival in Dunedin
