POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. ’ The following hours will be observed ; Wednesday, 24th December. — A delivery of correspondence will be made over the public counter between 7 and 8 p.m. Thursday, 2'st 1 1 December. — \\ ill be observed as a Sunday, (Friday, 20th December. —The Post and Telegraph office will be closed all day. A mail closing at (i a.m, will be despatched to Wellington and Palmerston North, Saturday, 27th December. — Hours as usual. \\ ednesday, 31st December. —-A delivery of correspondence will be made over the public counter between 7 and 8 p.m. Thursday, Ist January, 1931. — The Post and Telegraph office will be closed all day. A mail closing at (i n.m. will be. despatched to Wellington and 'Palmerston N. Friday, 2nd January.—Hours as usual. Note.—The Telephone Exchange will be open all day and all night as usual. PEN SION I 'AYAI.EN TS. The payment of the January, 1931 instalment of all New Zea.lam! pensions and family allowances ordinarily payable on the 23rd ami 25th of the month is authorised to be made on or after the 22nd December. imperial pensions except those stamped “not to be paid before due date," are also to be paid on 22nd December’.
