The friends of Miss Duncan will be pleased to learn that there is a slight improvement, in her health. 'The friends of Mr. W\. De Ridder will regret to learn that he is confined to his bed and unable to get about. 'Captain Hayes, M.'G., of. the .Marine Department, is again visit,ing Foxton in connection with his research work regarding whitebait.
