TO MEET DON BRADMAN
The hoys who participate in the four to Australia being organised by the Young Australia League, to take place during the Christmas vacation, will get a great thrill during the stay in Sydney. Among scores of interesting places ai'ranged for tin; hoys to visit, is mi inspection of the workshops of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, where they will he greeted by the engineer in chief, Dr. J. J. C. Bradfield, who will also take them on the approaches and point out the vaJrious phases .in connection ■with its construction.
‘ As every boy is a cricket lover, bis natural idol is Don Bradman, ami the boys will get a great thrill when Don spends an afternoon at (lie camp in Sydney. He lias promised to do this and to show the boys some of bis batting strokes. What a rush there will be for autographs, and how closely the eyes of every youngster will watch this famous eridkjeter’s movements as he shows how he knocks the balls to the boundary. There are still 15 vacancies and boys from 11 to 17 years of age are eligible. The total cost is:£4l 5/-, and information may be obtained !by writing to the Young Australia,,.
