FLAXMILL WORKERS’ UNION TO MEET.

At a meeting of the executive of tbe Munawatu Elaxinills Employees’ Union held in Shannon on Saturday, it was decided to call a special meeting of fiaxworkers to be held in Eoxton oh Saturday, November 22, at 2.30 p.m. for the purpose of considering the resolution, passed by the combined meeting of llaxinilfers and Eoxton fiaxworkers, that the award be suspended for six months and in the event of the special meeting carrying the suspension resolution, a ballot be taken of the members of the Union before such resolution is put into effect. Ail fiaxworkers will be allowed to attend the meeting, and take part in the deliberations, but only financial members of the Union will be allowed to exercise a vote. The Press will not be admitted, but a statement will be issued subsequently.
