WOMEN'S INSTITUTE.

The Fox-ton WloineiTs Institute, the membership of; which has now reached 00, held their monthly meeting on Thursday afternoon in the Presbyterian Sunday School, when an enjoyable time was spent by those present. A roll -call, on “Any Favourite Recipe” resulted in exchanging of many helpful ideas, while a feature of the afternoon was a demonstration of cake icing by Mrs. Wills, of Kongo tea Women’s Institute. This was followed by afternoon tea and a small “Bring and Buy” sale, the proceeds- of which are to be for obtaining future outside demonstrators.

The meeting closed with a hearty vote of thanks to the hostesses, Mesdames S. Austin, Bryant and Baird, and the demonstrator, Mrs. Wills.
