SUCOESSPUL SALE OP WORK.

A very successful sale of work was held hi the Town flail suppermom yesterday afternoon under the auspices of the Methodist Ladies' Social Guild. The stall and stall-holders were as follows: — Sewing, Mesdamos Honore aud liewctt; cake, Mesdames Leakin and Chirystail; produce, Mesdames Coker and Riches; door, Mrs. W. YVjalker. The railia competition was won by Miss Stephenson aud the naildriving by Mrs. J. Thomson. The sugar-ibag competition was won by Mrs. E. Parkin from a number of entries. Vocal items were contributed by .Mesdames ltickus and Tapp (duet), Aliss Hazel Hinds, pianot'orto selections by Mr. Caple, and recitations by Miss Jean Stevenson. Afternoon tea was dispensed by members of the Guild.
