IN DIVORCE.
In flic Palmerston North Supreme Court yesterday .James \Ym. Arcus, llaxworkcr, of Eoxton (Mr. Sergiu) petitioned, for divorce from Amokura Arens on the grounds of adultery. Clarence iClolev, of Coxian, was cited as co-respondent. In evidence petitioner said he had married respondent on .July 2fi, ! 010 at Oiaki. They subsequently lived at Olinu and near Levin. Two years ago respondent left him for “another man” and had refused to come hack to him. She had told him she preferred the “other man” who knew she was married to witness. Golev had been known to him for 10 or 12 years.
\Y. E. S. Porter, mill manager, of Levin, said he knew that Mrs. Arens was living with Coley from .June to October, 1028.
Francis Edlin, llaxmill worker, of Levin, said he also knew respondent and co-respondent who were living in a two-roomed house with only one bedroom. A decree nisi to be made absolute after 2 months, was granted. DECREE ABSOLUTE.
Leslie IT. S. Bo water, lorry driver, of Sandon (Mr. Cooper) secured a decree absolute from Frances Maud Bowatpr.
