NEW LEGISLATION. A return placed before the House of Representatives by Mr. 'Speaker ut the end of the session on Saturday, sums up the work of f'ou/r months. A total of 45 public, Acts, 18 local Acts, and six private Acts received the Royal assent, while 32 public Bills and nine local Bills were dropped or otherwise disposed of.
