Pleading guilty to a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-ear, John James MeCorquondnle, a sales manager, aged 35, was lined £ls and costs •by Mr. Mosley, S.M., at 'Christchurch yesterday. Accused’s license was cancelled and he was prohibited from obtaining a new one for L2 months. Senior-Ser-geant O’Grady said that accused had been convicted and lined £25 tor a similar offence at Wellington.
