At the inquest at Greymouth into the death of Mr John D. Watson, who was [killed while using an elecllrie cleaner on a motor car, the coroner’s (Mr W. Meldrum) finding was that deceased came to his death at llunanga on October, 1930, by electrocution. The cleaner appears to have been defective in that loose strands of flexible wire in the handle were touching the frame of the machine, and the fact that deceased was standing on sodden ground and was wearing ■wet carpet slippers, completed the circuit of the current.
