The football season in the llornw henna district was brought to a close on Saturday afternoon, when, mi the Levin Park Domain, the Foxton and Wanderers' Junior teams met in file fin a I of the knock-out competition for the Licensed Victuallers' 'Cup and the visitors won by 27 points to 0. The teams were fairly evenly matched, but Foxton showed the better eombiimtion on the day. Wanderers won I lie loss, and played with the wind, which was approximately from the west.
