“Aussie.” —There are some interesting new features in the latest issue of “Aussie” just to hand. Foremost amongst these is a brilliantly humorous feature written and illustrated by Ken Alexander. Arrangements have been made for Mr. Alexander to supply a similar feature every issue. As the humour is typical of New Zealand the page should be very popular in this country. In addition to this New Zealand readers will find special interest in the 'New Zealand section, which is particularly bright in the Oetoibcr issue. The drawing's iby such clever artists as Praia and Smart are always a feature of this section. Altogether the October issue of “Aussie” is one of the brightest we haye seen

for a long time. “Humour.”—ln these times of economic depression a paper like “Humour” does wonderful work in 'helping to cheer up the 'community. This threepenny magazine skims the cream of witticisms from the world’s leading humorous papers. It is always 'bright and entertaining. It is also a potential, money maker for readers, as there is a weekly joke competition in which cash prizes are offered.
