Air. J. K. Hornblow (chairman) and A. J. Phillipps (managing secretary) of the Palmerston North Hospital Board are at present in Wellington on Hospital business. The death occurred at Kelvin Grove 011 Saturday of Mi'. Alexander McHardie, a well-known and highly respected resident- of the Manawatu, and father of Mrs. A. .Tagger, of Foxton.
