The Department of Agriculture •lias received the following cablegram, dated 4th instant, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, Loudon:—
Hemp:—Manila market irregular. “K" -grade October-Decein-•ber shipment sold £2O 12/0 early this week but more steady later and sold at £2O 17/6. Sisal: African steady. No. 1 good marks Oelolber-Deeemiber shipment value £22. Fair average quality sold £2l 12/6. iNew Zealand: —Little offering but small 'business has .been done in fair £2l 10/-, rejected £lB 10/-, No. 3 Tow £l3 15/- fqr OctoberXo vernier shipment.
