A. special squad of police has been detailed to endeavour to suppress trading on Sunday in Auckland. Oil fuel will be plentiful in Wellington and Auckland this week, when four large tankers will unload their cargoes within five days. On Thursday the 0000 Lons tanker Athol Templar reached Wellington from Sun Pedro with a lull cargo of oil for the Union Company. Last week the 6000 ton tanker Plauoi’bis arrived at Wellington from Tarakan, Dutch East Indies, with a full cargo of oil for the -Shell Company. Also with oil fuel for the Shell Company the 6000 tons tanlker Acasla arrived at A ucJdand. from Tarakan last week. She will unload a quantity of the cargo ait Auckland, and the remainder at Wellington. The fourth vessel is the 9000 tons tanker Brunswick, under charter to the Atlantic Union Oil Company. Her bulk oil cargo ‘will “be unloaded at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and ‘Sydney. Further supplies of oil fuelTvill reach New Zealand the following* week.
