COURT RETURNS.

The Court returns for the quarter ending September 30th show that there were three civil sittings of the Court locally, and six criminal sessions. In all, fourteen plaints were entered, a total amount of £95 4s 6d beiu- sued for. Eight judgment summonses were issued, 54 summonses served by the bailiff, nine civil warrants executed, and one summons served by registered post. The sum of £ls 16s was paid in civil fees, £2O in fines, £4 7s in criminal fees, and £3 17s in licensing fees. There -were nineteen criminal cases heard against males during the quarter, hut none against females.
