FOXTON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
A. committee meeting of the Foxton Horticultural Society was held in Ross’s rooms on 'Thursday evening presided over bv Mr. L). Christie (president). Also present, were Alessrs \\. If. Walton, S. TI. Poole, .las. Ross, .John Ross, P. IT. .Murray, T. Hughes, W. 11. Nicholas, and the secretary (Mr. E. J. Murphy). Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames It. Owen, S. Easton, E. .J. Murphy, Aliss M. Hughes, Mr. N. Cress well and Mr. XV. Bullard.
Accounts amounting to £32 19/9 were passed for payment. It was reported that the exhibitors who gained 25 points or over in. connection with the perpetual trophy wore as follows: Mrs. 10. .J. Murphy 150, Miss M. Hughes (Hi, Mrs. T. 10. Hughes 3S, Miss B. Gower 37, Mrs. R. Owen 3li, Miss A. Satherlcy 35, Mrs. .J. Andrew 35, Mrs. F. Procter 33, Miss O. Xye 29, Miss C. M. Mitchell 27.
