OBITUARY.
SA UAH NE\V:T,II, A(tEif) 07 YEARS. The dentli occurred at Wairoa, jla.wko’s Bay, yesterday, of Sarah Newth, relict of the late William Newth, aged G 7 years. The late Mrs. Newth was born at N'elson, where she subsoquently married her late husband, they together taking up thleir residence in Fox ton about 40 years ago. De- ' ceased continued to reside in d'oxton up till the time of her late husband's death about four years ago, after which sdte removed to Palmerston North, and later to Wairoa, where she had been living with her daughter, Mrs. E. Savill, for the past six or seven months. Deceased was of a somewhat retiring nature, but was wellknown and much respected throughout this district. Two sons, Messrs Richard D., of Invorcar- : gill, and Herbert, of Palmerston North, and one daughter, Mrs. Edgar Savill, of Wairoa, are the family of the deceased. There are also six grandchildren. Mrs. ,1. NewHli, of Hall Street, Poxlon, Mrs. .1. Hunter, Mangatainolka, Mrs. .1. Clinch, Pinion, are sisters, and Messrs James ami | John Andrew, Buxton, are brothers of the late Mrs. \V .'Newth.
The funeral will take place at Boston to-morrow, the cortege leaving All Saints’ Church for the cemetery at 2.30 p.m-
