BREACHES OF MOTOR REGULATIONS.

MAXIMUM FINE IMPOSED. At the local S.M. (Court this morning l , before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., F. R. Waller, farmer, of Himatangi (Mr Bergin), pleaded guilty to a charge of driving a motor car in Main -Street. Foxton, on August 30th, without a driver s license. The S.M., in view of previous convictions against- the accused for breaches of the Motor Vehicles Regulations, entered a conviction and imposed the maximum penalty of £lO, and costs 10/-.

THREE ON A MOTOR BICYCLE. Peter Lane, of Palmerston N., pleaded guilty to a- charge of riding a motor bicycle on September Ttli to which no side-ear was 'attached and upon which more than two persons were being 1 carried, contrary to the Motor Vehicles regulations. He was convicted and fined 10/- and 10/- costs.
