.Miss Gertrude lvebbell, of Levin, left Wellington to-day, on a holiday visit to England. Mr. J. J. lvebbell, one of the pioneer settlers of this coast, celebrated his 90th birthday at his home “iNoumai,'' Levin, on Aionday. There was a gathering of relatives on the occasion and the old gentleman was the recipient of many congratulatory messages.
