BASKETBALL.
Two basketball teams have been selected from the local business girls for the purpose of furthering •he sport locally. The teams are as follows: A leant: Miss M. Par.litt, F. Croon, S. Williams, ,1. Tliynne, M. Gay, R. Halulnne, I. Easton, X. Dunn and M. Hughes. B team: Misses L. Martin, C. McKenzie, B. Hum, M. M.-flee, J. Coley, Z. McCarthy, H. Minilh, M. Symons and .S. Baird.
Last Wednesday bolh A and B loams journeyed to Marton where l hey played two teams from the High School. The A learn won bv Mx points to one and the B team l"sl, live point.-- In nil. The visilio's were hospitably entertained at the conclusion o| play when arrangements were made for a return match.
