CHURCH SOCIAL.

Tlie monthly church social arranged by the Presbyterian Ladies Guild, took place in the schoolroom last evening and despite the inclement weather, there was a large attendance. A most enjoyable programme had been arranged and an exeellenl supper provided by the committee. During the evening Ensign Smith gave a recitation and received an encore. The competitions were won by Mrs. Carbett and Mr. J. M. Thomson. The hostesses were Mesdamos Martin, Garbett, Heath, Brooks and Nicholas.
