PLUNKET SOCIETY.

h. MONTHLY MEETING

The usual monthly meeting of the Blanket Society was held in the Society’s rooms on Monday. There were present; Mesdames Trueman (chair), Christie, Bain, Adams, Tapp and Barron (lion, secretary). Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames E. Robinson (president), W. H. Smith and A. Ross. A welcome was extended to Mrs. Tajpp by the secretary in the absence of the president. A motion of sympathy was passed to Mrs. E. Robinson in the recent loss of her husband. The nurse’s report showed 12 visits to rooms for June and contributions to the office box, 5/3., Mrs. Adams was appointed visitor for the month. Mr. 1. Corn’s weighing machine yielded 7/10 for the month of June. Accounts amounting to £5 19/9 were passed for payment.
