Hartley, charged with allowing two cows and a horse to wander on the Bench Bond was lined 10/- and .17/- costs. 11. .Doreen, similarly charged in respect to live cows on the Himahuigi highway was lined 10/- and 17/- costs.
BREACHES OK MOTOR It RO C BATKIN S. Win. Berry (Tralli-c Inspector to the Manawatn 'County Council) pioceeded against 11. Lowe, of Rangiotu, for operating a motor lorry hearing indication discs which related to a license which had expired. 'Killed 10/- and 17/- costs. BUKA OH OK PROHIBITION' ORDER. Margaret Teresa, Petersen, a stranger to Koxton, was charged with entering the licensed premises of the Family Hotel on April Hit'll during the currency of a prohibition order. Arising out of the same ease Peter Petersen, also a stranger to Koxton, was charged on the same date with accompanying a prohibited -person iu the person of .Margaret Teresa Petersen into the licensed premises of the Kamily Hotel.
Neither defendant appeared. Constable Owen, in evidence, said that on the date in question witness had a coiiiiplaint from the wife (hat Petersen was drinking in the hotel'. (In investigating witness found Petersen drunk and also discovered that they had both stayed the night at tile hotel. Both accused were convicted and lined £1 and costs 10/-. s INDECENT ACT.

Accused ns’kod that his name be suppressed, but (tie Magistrate said that if accused would go and make a 'beast of himself iu liquor and afterwards in a public place people should know about it. PRHIiiBITIOX ORDER. On the application of the Police a prohibit ion order was granted against a well-known local resident.
