Mr. Or-King is now about again after his recent- operation. The friends of Mrs. T. Yardley will regret in learn that she is an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital, where she undcrwenl an operation yesterday. Her condition is unite satisfactory. The engagement is announced of Vin-lei Elliel, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. ..Bangs, To Puke, (late of Foxtail), to .Bernard, only son of Mt. and Mrs. Hartwell, Great Barrier.
